Eettiset pelisäännöt 1. No hate speech - We don’t allow racism, homophobia, transphobia, misogyny, bodyshaming or other forms of discrimination in NuDe’s own or collaborated events. We don’t use language that is hurtful towards oppressed groups of people. 2. Zero tolerance to any form of harassment or violence - We don’t accept any form of violence both verbal and physical. Harassment includes ex. sexual harassment, unwanted attention, offensive jokes, hate speech, marginalization and intimidation/pressuring. 3. Be mindful of others - We respect and are mindful of others in the way we talk and act. We respect everyone’s name and personal pronouns and ask politely if we don’t know them. Accept the fact that not everyone wants to be the centre of attention, and that there are many ways to participate. 4. Respect boundaries - If someone says no, it is a no. In our events everyone respects everyone’s personal space and don’t get too close or touch them without consent. This includes taking photographs and/or uploading them — ask before you do it. 5. Don’t assume - We don’t make assumptions about others. We don’t assume anyone’s gender, sexual/romantic orientation, background, abilities etc. We don’t uphold damaging structures or stereotypes. 6. Step in if you see misconduct or ask for help from harassment contact people - If you see anyone behaving inappropriately or not following the NuDe’s Event Code of Conduct, step in or ask help from harassment contact people who can take over the situation. If you feel unsafe, always ask for help from the event hosts and harassment contact people. 7. Accountability - We take accountability of our own speech and actions and we listen to others. Our aim is to discuss in a constructive way and give others a chance to grow if needed. If you are criticised for your own actions, please have a constructive attitude. Be willing to apologize and learn.

Edunvalvonta Opiskelijoiden edunvalvonta on yksi NuDen tärkeimmistä tehtävistä. NuDen edunvalvojat, jotka valitaan hallitukseen aina vuoden lopussa, ovat vastuussa oikeudenmukaisesta ja toimivasta opiskeluympäristöstä jokaiselle muotoiluopiskelijalle. Edunvalvojamme toimivat myös keskustelun aloittajina muotoilun laitoksen ja sen opiskelijoiden välillä. Yksi NuDen suurimmista edunvalvontatehtävistä on ollut tehdä päätöksenteosta läpinäkyvämpää koko opiskelijakunnallemme. Voit aina ottaa yhteyttä opiskelijaedustajiin , jos jokin opiskeluun- tai muotoilun laitokseen liittyvä asia askarruttaa mieltäsi. Kokouksissa on käyty läpi mm. opiskelijoiden kotipesien (Homebase) parantamista ja vuosittaisten Qualitypartyn järjestämistä. Opintoneuvosto aka OPN NuDen edunvalvojat osallistuvat myös opintoneuvoston kokouksiin, joissa he keskustelevat ajankohtaisista opiskeluun liittyvistä aiheista muiden Aallon edunvalvojien kanssa. Hall opedit Sinun ei myöskään tarvitse olla hallituksen edunvalvoja, jotta voit vaikuttaa yhteisiin asioihin. Hallinnon opiskelijaedustajat eli hallopedit kokoontuvat kattamaan erilaisia opinto-ohjelmia ja tiedekuntaan liittyviä kehittämisideoita yhdessä laitosten edustajien kanssa. Myös NuDen edunvalvojat ovat perinteisesti osallistuneet muotoilun laitoksen kannalta tärkeitä asioita käsitteleviin toimielimiin. Näistä Taiteiden ja suunnittelun korkeakoulun akateemisen komitea eli TSAK on yksi merkittävimmistä. Sen vastuualueeseen kuuluu ehdotusten tekeminen yliopistokohtaisista opetussuunnitelmista, tutkintovaatimuksista ja pääsykriteereistä. Yrityssuhteet The aim of outreach is to bring students closer to working life. Outreach is responsible for everything that has to do with companies and connections. We organize sponsorship deals for concrete products as well as career-related events. NuDe's Vappujackets, which are a very important tradition, are also a responsibility of outreach. Excursions Outreach organizes excursions for all of our members. On an excuriosn you get a unique opprtunity to visit a company and to see what kind of opportunities there are for us future designers. Career events NuDe's outreach organizes career-related events on campus. An example of these is NuDe's Career Nights, where professionals from the field come to share their knowledge and insight with us.

NuDe Annual Ball '22 Saturday 08.10.2022 Cocktail event & Banquet Ravintola Töölö (Runeberginkatu 14-16, 00100 Helsinki) The NuDe Annual Ball finally returns after a 3-year hiatus! Nuoret Designerit welcomes you to attend our annual ball, "Rotaatiovalu", to celebrate our upcoming 36th anniversary, to be held on Saturday 08.10.2022. The doors open at 16.00 for invited guests with a cocktail reception where greetings and gifts will be exchanged. The doors open for general guests at 17.00 for the cocktail event. Following closely from 18.00, the main banquet will commence. The cocktail and banquet will be held in Ravintola Töölö (Runeberginkatu 14-16, 00100 Helsinki). Bus transportation to the afterparty is provided from the banquet. Dresscode: White tie or Evening gown with Academic honours Dinnercard for the event costs 75€ for students, 85€ for others. We are offering a VIP package for €99 which will include a surprise goodie bag along with the ticket. Registration is binding after closing. Preorder for NuDe's first songbook is also possible for an additional €10. You will also get the chance to purchase it on the event day. The registration for Invited guests opens 22.08.2022 until it's closure on 07.09.2022 at 23.55. The registration for Members opens on 07.09.2022 until it’s closure on 24.09.2022 at 23.55.
